COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will hold their next business meeting April 16 with special guest speaker Catie Tobin from Clean Ocean Action where she is a Marine Science and Education Coordinator.
“2015 celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Beach Sweeps sponsored by Clean Ocean Action and we thought this was a perfect opportunity to learn more about this important environmental protection program”, said to Vicki Clark, Chamber President. According to Clean Ocean Action, their Beach Sweeps program began in 1985 with just 75 volunteers and one location. It has now expanded to more than 70 locations and involves thousands of volunteers.
The April 16 Chamber meeting will be held at Wildwood Golf Club located at 1170 Golf Club Road, Cape May Court House and pre-paid registration is required.
