Award to be Presented at the “Endless Summer Benefit”

By Sponsored Content

WILDWOOD – Cape Assist and the Windrift Resort in Avalon are hosting the “Endless Summer” fundraising buffet on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6 to 9 PM. The evening will feature great food, music, and a silent auction to support programs for Cape May County’s youth and families.
Please join us as we also honor John Lynch with “The Community Partner in Prevention Award” for his dedication and on-going contributions such as the “Lunch with Lynch Foundation”, a non-profit charity that is partnered with the Cape May County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #7. The organization’s mission is to help facilitate supplemental educational experiences for the children of the Wildwoods in and out of the classroom environment. This compliments Cape Assist’s efforts of preventing and treating substance abuse and related issues via education, advocacy, counseling, and community collaboration. They offer prevention programs and services to schools, businesses, organizations, families, and individuals throughout Cape May County.
This event is made possible by agency sponsors such as Sturdy Savings Bank, Crest Savings bank, Mitchell Nichols Enterprises, Marsh & McLennan Agency, and Windrift Resort. Additionally, donated silent auction items include a baseball signed by Phillies’ Jimmy Roland, a 1950s gumball machine, and a ball signed by the Pittsburg Pirates 1979 team, and much more. Preview some of the items on Facebook at “Cape Assist’s Endless Summer Benefit”.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. To purchase tickets or place a bid on a silent auction item, please call (609) 522-5960. For more information about Cape Assist or agency events, visit www.CapeAssist.org.
