At their annual Holiday Party, members of the Avalon Lions Club celebrated the season of giving by donating a check for $2,000 to the Marine Corps Reserve of Cape May County. The donation was part of a Toys for Tots collection that also saw dozens of unwrapped toys brought to the party by the Lions. The toys are given to needy children throughout Cape May County.
Toys for Tots is one of more than a dozen charities the Lions support during the year. All are located in Cape May County.
