AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s (ARMC) Satellite Emergency Department (SED) in Hammonton, N.J. has earned the Emergency Nurses Association’s (ENA) 2018 Lantern Award. The ENA announced the award July 3. AtlantiCare’s SED is one of only 19 emergency departments across the nation to earn the designation this year and 37 overall that hold the three-year designation.

“The Lantern Award acts as a visible symbol to patients that the receiving emergency department values excellence and delivers exceptional care,” said Jeff Solheim, MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, CFRN, FAEN, FAAN, president, ENA. “AtlantiCare’s Satellite Emergency Department demonstrates exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research.”
