AtlantiCare Physician Group Earns Patient-Centered Innovation Award

COURT HOUSE — The New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians presented AtlantiCare Physician Group Primary Care Plus with its 2014 Patient-Centered Innovation Award June 12. APG PCP was one of six recipients of the award, which NJAFP presented at its Summer Celebration and Scientific Assembly at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The NJAFP has worked with physicians, providers, health systems, community health centers, healthcare teams, and others to develop innovative approaches to patient-centered care since 2009. Its Patient-Centered Innovation Award is designed to recognize and acknowledge practices and care teams, their innovative programs and projects, and their commitment to excellence in patient care through innovation. NJAFP recognized APG in part for its innovation in improving patients’ access to care.
