COURT HOUSE – AtlantiCare’s 10th Annual Women’s Health Signature Event will take place this Oct. 24 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Carriage House, 25 South Pitney Road, Galloway, NJ. Approximately 300 people are expected to attend the event, where activist, artist, and author Mary Fisher will be the keynote speaker. There will also be an art exhibit featuring Zentangle® drawings by cancer survivors; giveaways; chair and hand massages; makeup demonstrations; mini spa treatments; and vendor sales and services.
Louisville, Kentucky native and AIDS and breast cancer survivor Mary Fisher lectures nationally about vulnerable women, discrimination, and the experience of having diseases including AIDS and cancer. Fisher first achieved fame in 1992 when she told the Republican National Convention in Houston, Texas that she had contracted HIV from her husband.
