By Press Release

MAYS LANDING – Atlantic City Electric (ACE) is working diligently to restore service to customers that lost power due to the severe thunderstorms that affected the company’s service territory June 8.
Since the onset of the storms, ACE crews have restored service to nearly 10,000 customers. Atlantic City Electric will work around the clock to restore service to all remaining customers currently without power. In addition to internal crews, ACE has overhead line contractors assisting in the restoration effort.
Heavy rain can saturate soil causing trees already weakened by today’s storms to fall onto power lines and equipment which may cause additional outages.
Customers are asked to please report any outages and to stay away from any downed wires. To report outages and/or downed wires, please call 1-800-833-7476, follow the prompts, and please ask for a call back to confirm that power has been restored. Outages also may be reported through atlanticcityelectric.com or through the company’s mobile app.
