By Press Release

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – On Oct. 31, Atlantic Cape Community College dedicated its Cape May County Campus library to Robert Mullock, an Atlantic Cape Foundation honorary board member, and his family for their long-time generosity to the college. In a brief ceremony, college officials renamed the library the Mullock Family Library and expressed their deep appreciation to Mullock family members for their generous contributions to student scholarships.
Since 2005, the Mullock family, which owns the Cape May National Golf Club and the Historic Chalfonte in Cape May, has hosted the foundation’s Scramble “Fore” Scholarships golf tournament and has provided greens fees, dinner and event support. Between 2005 and 2015, the tournament raised $379,918 which has enabled the foundation to award $214,000 in student scholarships
“The Mullock family has made it possible for so many students to have access to higher education at Atlantic Cape which might not have been possible without their generous contributions over the last 10 years,” said Jean McAlister, executive director of Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation.
The library is part of an information commons that also offers a computer lab, tutoring and support services. This state-of-the-art facility also provides the services of a professional librarian for research assistance and information literacy instruction. The Mays Landing and Worthington Atlantic City campuses also house information commons to offer students integrated services in a single location.
Atlantic Cape’s Cape May County Campus is located at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House. In addition to earning any of nine degrees without leaving the Cape May County Campus, students may also earn any of 13 online degrees or earn credits toward any of the college’s 46 degree programs.
