MAYS LANDING—Atlantic Cape Community College will celebrate its 50th anniversary of creating opportunity for Atlantic and Cape May County residents with a series of commemorative events during the 2016-2017 school year at all three of its campuses.
The college will kick off the yearlong series of events with a Community Day from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
Highlights include music by Seven Stone, face painting, a drone demonstration, Atlantic City Aquarium’s Traveling Touch Tank Exhibit sponsored by Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law, paintball battles, train rides to tour campus, craft and nonprofit vendors, Zumba sponsored by Tilton Fitness and much more.
Patrons will feast on items from food trucks including The Palm, Mad Dog Morgan’s, The Brickwork Caterers featuring wood-fired brick oven pizza, Tacoholics and Pete’s Italian Ice.
The event is free and open to the public.
