Affordable Accessory Apartments For Rent Coming Soon to West Cape May

WEST CAPE MAY — Applications are currently being accepted for affordable two and three bedroom apartments located in West Cape May Borough. Two affordable, rental units will be available to very low and moderate-income households, and will be completed by the end of 2011. Applications will be accepted until Sept. 2.
Rents for the affordable two and three bedroom units will range from $529 to $916 per month. In order to be eligible for an affordable housing unit, you must meet certain income limits as determined by the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing.
The maximum household incomes permitted for the three-bedroom, very low-income unit are $18,328 for a three person household, $20,365 for a four person household, $21,994 for a five person household, and $23,623 for a six person household.
The maximum household incomes permitted for the two-bedroom, moderate-income unit are $43,445 for a two person household, $48,876 for a three person household, $54,306 for a four person household, $58,651 for a five person household, and $62,995 for a six person household.
Interested households will be required to submit a pre-application. All qualified pre-applications will be entered into a lottery to be held on Sept. 7.

If you are interested in applying to rent one of the affordable units, you must complete a Preliminary Application and return it to Triad Associates. Triad Associates has been designated by West Cape May Borough as the program Administrative Agent to qualify and assist renters through the application process.
