Action-filled Weekend Draws Crowds to County Towns

By Al Campbell

NORTH WILDWOOD — Nothing to do? You’re in the wrong county this weekend. The place is filled with action for everyone.
With Irish festivals in this city and in Sea Isle City, a Wildwood Boardwalk Car show and Seafarer’s Festival in Wildwood Crest, with music, food, vendors and fireworks on the beach, coupled with the 26th annual Wings and Water Festival centered around the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor Manor, Middle Township, there must be something that is happening to keep everyone busy and entertained this weekend.
Wings and Water Festival continues through Sunday in a number of venues.
For those who love parades, the Irish Festival parade will take place on Sunday in North Wildwood beginning at 1 p.m. at 24th and Surf Avenue.
See Wednesday’s Herald print edition for more photos of other events.
