Family owned and operated, Dollard Baker Sew & Vac will be celebrating 92 years of business on August 1st, serving the South Jersey, Atlantic, and Cape May County areas since 1921. There will be a special celebration on July 19th and 20th in which they will be giving away one free vacuum and one sewing machine. On Friday, July 19th, they will be open from 10am to 5pm and Saturday, July 20th, the hours will be 10am to 4pm.
A customer, Karen Moring, said that she had bought a vacuum from them in 2000 and she still uses it to this day and loves it. “It’s not just about the name brands, you just have to buy a good vacuum and it will last a long time, like mine,” she states.
Dollard Baker Sew & Vac offers evening classes and private lessons. You can also have them come to you if you have four people willing to participate and have sufficient tables and electric outlets.
