CAPE MAY – The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation seeks sponsors for the 2016 Cape May County Coast Guard Community Festival – a celebration of the County’s relationship with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and USCG personnel and their families – taking place Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8.
Sponsorship of the Coast Guard Community Festival is a great opportunity for a business to promote itself while supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. The festival is a well-attended event that will draw an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 visitors throughout the weekend. Sponsorships start as low as $150 and offer an opportunity for a great deal of exposure while supporting the event and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Sponsorship opportunities are selling out and the Foundation would like to thank those who are already on board in supporting this year’s festival.

Friday evening will include a ‘Farewell to Captain Prestidge’ dinner, honoring the Captain who is moving from TRACEN to a new duty station. On Saturday, walking tours of U.S. Coast Guard Ships and trolley tours of the extensive TRACEN base will be available, along with live music, a wide variety of children’s activities and interactive displays, extensive exhibits by cultural and historical groups, non-profits, and the USCG, and additional vendors.
