WOODBINE — William Wasekanes, Jr., Senior District Executive for the BaySea District of the Boy Scouts, presented historic Troop 77 with their re-chartering credentials at the Woodbine Borough Council meeting on Feb. 15, 2018.
Mr. Wasekanes presented the documents to Organization Representative Rubye Hutchinson. Both Boy Scout Troop 77 and Cub Scout Troop 77 are chartered by Horne’s Temple Lighthouse Deliverance Mission in Woodbine.
Troop 77 Scoutmaster is Christian Broughton. Pack 77 is led by Bryan Troup.
Mayor Pikolycky welcomed the Scouts, their families, and leaders and added:
“Troop (and Pack) 77 has a long history in the Borough of Woodbine; I myself was a member. We are proud to welcome them back in this latest incarnation and thank the leaders and parents who have made this happen. We have a standing room only crowd with the boys and their families—packed room tonight. And this is especially timely as February is Scouting Month.”
