COURT HOUSE — Ms. Annamarie McKee’s fourth and fifth grade language arts classes recently held a book “tasting,” a fun way to get students excited about reading. The students had an opportunity to sample several different books. They did a pre-read and rated the books from one to five. Ms. McKee will use those ratings to select books for their literature circles.
“This is a wonderful example of how our teachers engage students in meaningful learning,” said Principal Tom McGuire.
