COURT HOUSE – The girls’ cross country team at Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School won the girls’ Atlantic Cape League Title with an undefeated record in the 2017 season. The Bishop McHugh boys’ cross country team placed second in their division of the Atlantic Cape League.
In addition, at the Optimist’s Little Five Island Run, the season’s final meet of the Atlantic Cape League in Wildwood, Bishop McHugh eighth grader Samantha Marks placed first overall and sixth grader Zachary Marks placed third overall.
Girls’ team members included Samantha Andress, Grace Gehman, Adrianna Gray-Rivera, Maddie Keefer, Samantha Marks, Grace McMahon, Maggie McMahon, Imogene Nuss, Natalie Nuss, Mackenzie Palek, Madison Palek, Samantha Pasceri, and Xiomara Walker.
Boys’ team members included Giovanni Colalillo, Charlie Dunner, Anthony Edwardi, Matthew Kemenosh, Shane Klemick, Dustin Laricks, Zachary Marks, Carson Payne, John Pond, and Adam Radzieta.
Coaches for the boys’ and girls’ teams are Mrs. Nadine Marks Dempsey, Mrs. Darla Morinelli, and Mrs. Laurie Moore.
