Bar Foundation race scheduled in Sea Isle

The Cape May County Bar Foundation will be holding its annual Race Judicata 5K Run/1K Walk in Sea Isle City, Sept. 26, at JFK Boulevard and the Promenade (www.racejudicata5k.com).
Check-in time is 8 a.m., and the run will begin at 9 a.m.; walk at 9:05 a.m.
There will also be a post-race breakfast at Shoobies, 40th and Landis Ave. Race participants can pay at the door.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Cape May County Bar Foundation Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship, which is worth $2,000, is offered every year to two graduating Cape May County high school students who will be attending a four-year college.
In 2008, the foundation raised almost $2,000 and had about 100 participants.
The registration fee for participants 18 years and up is $20; the fee for participants under 18 is $10.
Late registrants can receive t-shirts while supplies last.
Water, fruit, snacks, and prizes will be provided to all participants. Medals and gift certificates will be awarded to the top male and female finishers overall. Medals will also be awarded to the top runners in 16 age categories.
Late registration is accepted until the start of the race. Payments should be mailed to the Cape May County Bar Foundation, P.O. Box 425, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
