Susan Boswell, a 2012 graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL, for outstanding academic achievement for the Fall 2013 semester.
Jessica Nesi of Marmora, NJ was inducted into the Widener University chapter of Kappa Theta Epsilon, the National Honor Society for Cooperative Education during Honor’s Week 2014.
Kappa Theta Epsilon was established in 1957 for the purpose of promoting academic achievement and recognizing outstanding students participating in cooperative education. To be inducted, students must exhibit superior scholarship, exemplary character and distinguished personal qualities.
Sarah Schiffelbein of Villas was named to Fall 2013 Caldwell College Dean’s List.
Caldwell College recently named 479 students to the fall 2013 Dean’s list, according to Patrick Progar, Ph.D., BCBA-D, vice president for Academic Affairs at the college. In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is pleased to announce that Desiree Aaron-Stanton of Ocean City, N.J., was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Aaron-Stanton was initiated at Widener University.
Emerson College student Alexa Kelly of Ocean City, a Writing, Lit and Publishing major, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2013 semester. The criterion to make Emerson’s Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.
South Seaville, NJ native Chelsey Jean, a 2009 graduate of Middle Township High School, Cape May Court House, NJ, is starring as Cinderella in the New York City premiere of Cinderella, The Fairy Godmother’s Tale, opening as part of The New York Children’s Theater Festival (www.newyorkchildrenstheaterfestival.org) on Friday May 9, 2014.
Chelsey, who now lives in Collingswood, NJ, received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory (2013), and is very active in the NJ and Philadelphia area theater world. She currently stars in The Foreigner at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman in Pitman, NJ. (closes March 30), and is involved with a South Jersey-based theatre group called The Shaken Not Stirred Players, whose leaders have worked tirelessly to restore the historic Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, NJ along with the Theater Collaborative of South Jersey.
The Wildwood High School Alumni and Friends presented four 2013 graduates with their scholarships. The recipients are: Kelsi Toland who is attending Florida Gulf Coast University, Jose Otero attending Stockton College, Michael Veltri attending Rowan University and Tiffany Breslin attending The College of Saint Elizabeth.
Two graduates were awarded the Herman and Irene Gulick awards at the June Class Day assembly: Danielle Aydelotte, Mathematics Award attending Stockton College and Courtney Davis, Language Award attending Monmouth University.

To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Air Force Airman Gregory P. Hettenbach graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Hettenbach is the son of Kathy Stitt of Cape May Court House and grandson of Thomas Stitt of Cape May. He is a 2013 graduate of Cape May County Technical High School, Cape May Court House.
