The following Cape May County residents are away from home, either in the military or college: 
Jason Warner, of Marmora, graduated from Nichols College, in Dudley, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
The following students were named to the Dean’s List of President’s List at the University of Alabama:
Angela Becker, of Cape May
Logan Osmundsen, of Court House
Gregory Carroll, of Court House
Kyle Saul, of Petersburg
Madison Stankiewicz, of Villas
Brian Furey, of Strathmere, and a 2020 graduate of St. Augustine Prepatory High School, in Richland, New Jersey, was inducted into the Naval Academy Class of 2024 July 2, and will begin six weeks of basic midshipman training, as part of Plebe Summer.
Joshua Arnold, of Wildwood, was named to Fairfield University’s Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester.
Connor Laverty, of Ocean View, Noah Gillian, of Ocean City, Caroline Roth, of North Cape May, Erika McKenna of Ocean City and Rachael Sandora, of Wildwood Crest, all graduated for Widener University.
Christine Cathrall, of West Wildwood, received the Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation Endowed Scholarship from Central Penn College Education Foundation. Cathrall is studying to be a physical therapist assistant, at Central Penn College, which is based in Summerdale, Pennsylvania.
The following local students earned academic honors from Cabrini University for the spring 2020 semester:
* Katya Simonsen, of Cape May, was named to the Dean’s List.
* Raymond Wilson, of Court House, was named to the President’s List.
* Elise Fiore, of Court House, was named to the Dean’s List.
* Anthony Zampirri, of North Wildwood, was named to the Dean’s List.
* Teran Broadnax, of Rio Grande, was named to the Dean’s List.
* Matthew Rutherford, of Wildwood, was named to the President’s List.
The following students have been named to the Spring 2020 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences:
*Madeleine Martinelli, of Woodbine, a Psychology student
*Sophia Ellis, of Court House, a Doctor of Pharmacy student
*Tanner Kerr, of Avalon, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student
*Elyssa Zaccaria, of Wildwood, a Pre-pharmacy student
Amina Carter, of Villas, graduated from Adelphi University, in Garden City, New York, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Magna Cum Laude honors.
Dinae DeMayo of Wildwood, and Haley Riess, of Cape May, graduated from York College of Pennsylvania May 31.
Charles Heyder, of Court House, has been named to the Spring 2020 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, Rhode Island.
