AVALON – Avalon’s annual Shop-A-Holics event, scheduled for March 7-9 at The Princeton and The Whitebrier, will give shoppers a chance to beat those winter blues with designers, drinks and deals.
Shop-A-Holics will offer a number of items at drastic discounts. Tommy Bahama, Kate Spade, Jonathan Adler and Tory Burch are just a few of the many designer names that will be featured. Browse through the wide variety of designer clothing, shoes, accessories and home décor while enjoying your cocktail of choice.
Known as the largest winter shopping event in Cape May County, Shop-A-Holics is hosted by the 7MBCA (7 Mile Business Community Association).
“You have to love an event where you have a discounted designer dress in one hand and a dirty martini in the other,” says event organizer Kathy Wierzbicki. “It’s a well-loved event that not only benefits the shopper with huge discounts on quality merchandise, but also benefits a local charity.”
The money raised from this year’s event will benefit Family Promise of Cape May County. Shoppers are encouraged to pay a $5 cover charge on Friday evening, and bring a cleaning product or a monetary donation to the event on Saturday and Sunday.
A number of local stores and boutiques from the Seven Mile Beach are confirmed to participate, including Tiger Lily, Armadillo, People People, Global Pursuit, Bellissima and many more. And the shopping isn’t just for women: Hassis Men’s Shop returns, featuring 50 percent off the entire inventory!
Make plans to attend Shop-A-Holics March 7 from 5 to 9 p.m.; March 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and March 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With more than 35 participating stores, shoppers won’t want to miss this exclusive event featuring amazing deals and steals and refreshing cocktails.
