Avalon Performing Arts Council Announces Art Show Winners

AVALON – APAC is pleased to announce the winners of the 29th Annual Art Show & Sale, June 18, 2015.
The works of 48 artists were judged by Michael Brian Doyle, Laura Ducceschi, Abby Laible, and presented by APAC President, Loretta P. Finnegan.  A total of 13 cash prizes were awarded.
Oil/Acrylic – 1st place: Chuck Law; 2nd place: Frances Hughes; 3rd place: Nancy Yarnall Von Halle.
Watercolor – 1st place: Betsy Naumchik; 2nd place: Peter Ehlinger; 3rd place: Patricia Boyd.
Works on Paper/Mixed Media – 1st place: Linnie Greenberg; 2nd place: Renee Leopardi; 3rd place: Nancy Barch.
Photography – 1st place: Lindsay Wray; 2nd place: John McSweeney; 3rd place: Michael Zuccato
“Best in Show” – Chieh-Nie Cherng, of Hillsborough, NJ for “Irises”.  She was awarded a $500 cash prize.
“APAC programs are made possible in part by a grant administered by the Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council of the Arts.”
