Avalon Lions Charities Donates $11,000 to Food Pantry

AVALON — Avalon Lions Charities donated $11,000 to the Holy Redeemer Food Pantry during their Oct. meeting held at the Windrift Hotel and Resort. The donation will be used to help purchase non-perishable food items and turkeys to support their “Thanks” for “Giving” Thanksgiving Food Drive and other assistance programs. The Holy Redeemer Food Pantry provides food for 13,000 residents in Cape May County.
Avalon Lions Charities is made up of civic-minded men and women of Avalon and local communities bound together under Lions Clubs International “To Serve”, and meet community needs. District 16C is geographically most of South New Jersey.
