Avalon Lions Announce Major Donor for Upcoming Golf Tournament and Fundraiser

AVALON – Avalon Lions Charities are proud to announce that Worldwide Jet Charter will again be the Premier Sponsor for the 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic to be held June 25 at the Avalon Golf Club in Cape May Court House, NJ.

Last year’s golf event set all time records in the areas of golfers, dinner attendees, community support, and charitable donations.  All proceeds benefit the Helen L. Diller Home for Blind Children in Avalon and other charities.  The event includes a BBQ lunch, refreshments and dinner as well as insulated Goody Bags stuffed with items and an Antiqua Leader Jacket for all golfers.  Master of Ceremony’s will Chris Sowers, ABC 6 Action News and retired CBS 3 Eyewitness News personalities Robin Mackintosh and Pat Ciarrocchi of CBS Eyewitness News and Chris Sowers. This year’s Charity Golf Tournament looks to be the better than ever and has become one of the best golf events in Cape May County.

The Avalon Lions Club conducts fundraisers for the visually impaired and those with special needs in Cape May County.  It provides funding for the Helen L.
