Avalon Library Announces New Smartphone Compatible Catalog

AVALON — The Avalon Free Public Library is announced it has a new Smartphone compatible catalog. Patrons will now have the capability of looking at their accounts, searching the catalog, and placing holds for items from their Smartphone.
To access the catalog, go to the website and click on the catalog link on the homepage, or visit the page directly at m.avalonfreepubliclibrary.org.
The Avalon Library received 5 stars in Library Journal’s national rating of public libraries for the third time since 2009, based on statistical performance data collected by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The library is located at 235 32nd St. and provides free and open access to first class collections, services and programs that inspire, inform and enrich the community.
