Avalon Library Announces New Look to Library Catalog

AVALON — The Avalon Free Public Library is pleased to announce that its catalog has a new look. With one search, patrons will not only be able to find books, DVD’s, and CD’s, but at the same time find related magazine, newspaper, and encyclopedia articles.
Users can also add tags and rate titles. Searches are simplified, making information easier to find. A link to the new interface will be available on our website soon. To access now, go to encore.avalonfreelibrary.org.
The Avalon Library received five stars in Library Journal’s national rating of public libraries for the third time since 2009, based on statistical performance data collected by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
