AVALON — The Borough of Avalon, the Avalon Chamber of Commerce, and the 7 Mile Business and Community Association kicks off its annual “Thursdays on Dune” concert series on Thurs., June 22. Free concerts will be held every Thurs. through Aug. 24 at Avalon’s Veterans Plaza, located at 21st Street and Dune Drive.
The “Thursdays on Dune” concert series begins with a performance by Avalon’s favorite local singing group, the “7 Mile Singers” who sing popular and Americana songs. Starting Thurs., June 29, the Avalon Chamber of Commerce sponsors various fun activities throughout Avalon’s downtown district starting at 5:30 p.m. before the weekly concert begins at 7:00 p.m. All activities and performances are free to the public.

Aug. 24—Jumpers
In addition, the Avalon Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Pets on Parade on July 27 and Baby Parade on Aug. 3, in advance of the Thursdays on Dune concert.
