Avalon Historical Society Held Second Annual Mini Golf Competition

AVALON — The Avalon Historical Society held their Second Annual Miniature Golf Competition Sat. morning, June 14, at Go Fish Golf Course. The winner for “Best Score” Adult Category was Mike Kress, Children’s Category Colin Kress. Winners of “Most Holes in One” Adult Category James Agger Jr, Janine Fante and Mike Kress, Children’s Category Colin Stenger.
The Society thanks the Go Fish Golf for their support of this event in generously donating the golf course to play for the morning to benefit the Historical Society. Chair Rose Marie Chew also thanks the following businesses who gave gift certificates: Avalon Freeze, Blu Fish, Brian’s Waffle House, Buccaneer Ice Cream, Hoy’s Five & Ten, Nancy Lynn Candies, Pudgie Pelican, Sundae Best Ice Cream Parlor, and Uncle Bill’s Pancake House. Be sure to look for this event next year.
