EGG HARBOR CITY – The Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage will host a naturalization ceremony for 35 new citizens from 22 countries May 2 at 1 p.m. at the Egg Harbor City Community School, Havana Avenue, Egg Harbor City.
The ceremony is part of the vicinage’s annual Law Day celebration. The naturalization ceremony will be conducted by the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage along with the Atlantic County Bar Association, Egg Harbor City and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Assignment Judge Julio L. Mendez will preside over the ceremony with Superior Court Judges Nancy L. Ridgway and James P. Savio, who will administer the oath to the new citizens. The ceremony will be live-streamed and available at www.eggharborcityschools.com.
“This is the seventh naturalization ceremony that our vicinage has proudly hosted for new citizens” Judge Mendez said. “It is an honor to congratulate and welcome the new citizens.”
