COURT HOUSE—Atlantic Cape Community College held a Veterans Gratitude and Resources Fair, April 28, on its Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The event was well attended and showcased many vendors and resources that are available to veterans.
Featured keynote speaker David Evans, a veteran and Atlantic Cape Board of Trustees member, shared his story of combat and courage with the attendants and how veterans are perfect candidates to realize opportunity at Atlantic Cape. Last year’s keynote speaker and Atlantic Cape alumnus Assemblyman Robert Andrzejczak, also briefly spoke.
Assistance services included in the fair were: Military OneSource, Cape Assist, Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program and Cape May County Veterans Services, to name a few. There are currently 143 veterans enrolled at the college.
