CAPE MAY — The Atlantic and Cape May Vicinage will host a naturalization ceremony for 29 new citizens from 17 countries on Tues., May 3 at 10 a.m. at Congress Hall, 200 Congress Place, Cape May.
The ceremony is part of the annual Law Day celebration as well as the bicentennial celebration of Congress Hall. The naturalization ceremony is conducted by the Atlantic and Cape May Vicinage along with the Cape May County Bar Association, Cape May County Government and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Assignment Judge Julio L. Mendez will preside over the ceremony along with Superior Court Judges Michael Donohue and James Pickering, who will administer the oath to the new Citizens.
“It is truly an honor to host this ceremony for new citizens at Historic Congress Hall in Cape May County. I congratulate and welcome the new citizens,” Mendez said.
