AAUW Fall Dinner Sept. 21

CAPE MAY – The Cape May County Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its Welcome Back Dinner Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Washington Inn in Cape May.
Prospective members are welcome to attend the annual event, which serves as a kickoff for the club’s fall season.
AAUW’s mission is to promote education and equity for women and girls. The local group is 40 years old and continues to take a leading role in women’s issues in Cape May County. It awards three $1,000 scholarships annually to local women who are returning to college and participates in a mentoring program for at-risk students at Atlantic Cape Community College.
