4-H Teen Ambassadors/Junior Horse Council

By

The Cape May County 4-H Teen Ambassadors/Junior Horse Council is a group of young ladies and gentlemen from 6th grade to freshman year in college. They come together every 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to build their knowledge and skills working in partnerships with other teens as they organize, explore possibilities, and set goals for the local program.
As for being a role model for 4-H and representing the voice of 4-H these teens do many activities throughout the year. These activities include leadership building, road clean-ups, winter camp, SJTC, Peer Leadership Conference, USCG, Public Presentation Workshop, show boxes for kids, Relay for Life and much more. This year we also brought back Junior Horse Council. Those who are partaking in Junior Horse Council will be representing the youth in the horse program. They will be helping provide ideas, plan shows and clinics. For Teen Ambassadors; President Nick Shalek, Vice President Colby Shalek, Secretary Annabella Halburner, Treasurer Elizabeth Schalick. For Junior Horse Council; President Erin Schalick, Vice President Caitlyn Martindale, Secretary Annabella Halburner, Treasurer Elizabeth Schalick. Members include above mentioned plus Sam Barry, Kate Mihal, Jimmy Papperman, Coryn Dykhouse and Minglan Zheng.
