4-H Greetings from the Director of Rutgers Cooperative Extension

By

Welcome to the 2019 Cape May County 4-H Fair!
New Jersey 4-H, a program of Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE), has once again brought you a spectacular County Fair!
On behalf of the faculty and staff of RCE, I offer my warmest congratulations to over 35,500 4-H youth who have spent the last year in science, engineering, and technology project areas as diverse as aerospace, animal science, climate change, nutrition, and more. And, thousands more have participated in programs in the arts, citizenship, and healthy living.
The annual county fairs offer our 4-H members and their families the opportunity to showcase their 4-H projects and demonstrate the leadership, citizenship, and life skills they learned throughout the past year.
I especially applaud the thousands of 4-H volunteers for their dedication and continued support. Their invaluable contributions of time, knowledge, and caring are vital to the success of all 4-H programs!
The fair provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase these 4-H programs and what makes your county a unique part of our Garden State. You will experience a wide range of hands-on activities, demonstrations, educational opportunities, and good old fashioned “family fun!”
I hope you enjoy your stay at the fair and will plan to make this an annual destination for you and your family! Please contact us at 848-932-5000 and visit us online at http://nj4h.rutgers.edu/.
Best wishes,
Brian J. Schilling, Ph.D.
