The Needle & Thread 4-H Club works on sewing and craft projects throughout the year and meets on the second Wed. of each month at 6:00 p.m. The club’s next meeting will be Wed., Dec. 12, when they will create two holiday crafts. In the new year, club members will be making beds for the Cape May County Animal Shelter and working on their own individual projects.
Club Leaders Sharon Siefken and Doretta Wilson welcome new members in 4th grade through one year out of high school. The club meets at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension office at 355 Court House – S. Dennis Rd., in Cape May Court House.
4-H Youth Development Program is part of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers Cooperative Extension. 4-H educational programs are offered to all youth, grades K-13, on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
