3rd Annual 4-H Color Fun Run to Add Color and Excitement to the Cape May County 4-H Fair

By Press Release

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – One of the most popular events of the Cape May County 4-H Fair, the 4-H Color Run returns for its third year.
The 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, July 22 with same day registration starting at 8 a.m. followed by the Color Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. The race takes place at the 4-H Fairgrounds located at 355 Court House – South Dennis Rd. in Cape May Court House.
The Color Fun Run is an un-timed race in which runners/walkers are doused from head to toe in different, washable colors at various points along the race. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
1. Wear white at the 8:30 a.m. starting line to get the most color splatter.
2. Finish plastered in color with a smile on your face!
The Color Fun Run is a great family event that gives children and adults the opportunity to have fun together while getting exercise at the same time. So, if you love color and you like to walk or run, you can support the 4-H Program Advisory Council by participating in the 4-H Color Fun Run, or by stretching out along the race route to cheer on the runners by tagging them with a blast of color as they race toward the finish line.
Register early! The first 100 participants to register by July 14th are guaranteed a 4-H Color Fun Run Medal and Neck Ribbon. Call (609) 465-5115 ext. 605 to register or for more information. Parking for the race is available in the ACCC parking lot next to the fairgrounds.
