2nd Annual Winter Wonderland Warm Up Thurs., Nov. 10

By Press Release

WEST CAPE MAY – The young and young at heart are all invited to a Winter Wonderland Warm Up on Thurs., Nov. 10, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m., a fundraiser to benefit the West Cape May Christmas Parade!
Come enjoy your first hot chocolate of the season and other sweet and savory treats. Shop the Silent Auction for early holiday gifts. Enjoy live entertainment by some of Cape May’s local favorites.
The WCM Christmas Parade, now in its 46th year, is much more than a parade; it’s a local tradition which continues solely through contributions – both large and small.
Parade Lady Charlotte Daily fondly remembers an elder of the community who, “Reached in his pocket to pull out a couple dollars one year. This Parade is truly a ‘Peoples’ Parade!”
“The Winter Wonderland fund raiser, hosted by Congress Hall, is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an evening with your friends and be a part of the tradition which keeps the Parade marching each year,” said West Cape May Mayor Pam Kaithern.
Donation request: $20 per person. Children are welcome at no charge and will be entertained by Mrs. Claus and ‘Blue’ the Pig.
For tickets and information, call Congress Hall @ 609-884-8421.
