Junior:
Kate DiGilio – Kate is a member of the Needle and Thread 4-H Club. She just completed the 7th grade at Cape Trinity Catholic School and has been a member of 4-H for four years. Kate said, “I joined 4-H because my sister Emily was in it and it seemed like fun. I continue to join 4-H each year not only because it is fun, but also because I enjoy working on many projects. It is a great activity to be part of.”
Seniors:
Cadence Golley – Cadence is a member of the Pitchforks & Buckets 4-H Club. She just completed 9th grade at Cape May County Technical High School and has been a member of 4-H for eight years. Cadence said, “I feel that a great skill that I have shown my club this year is my leadership abilities serving as Vice President of our club. Also, I am setting a good example for my fellow club members and the rest of the 4-H community. I work very hard to stay organized with all of our club paperwork, notes at meetings, dates and times, plus my personal project animal logs and feed listings.”
Andrew Heim – Andrew is a member of the Shore Blazers 4-H Club. He just completed 11th Grade at Lower Cape May Regional High School and has been a 4-H member for nine years. Andrew said, “Because of my family’s involvement with 4-H, I became interested in 4-H. I now realize how much I have learned by being part of such a great organization that can make a difference. 4-H has really helped me gain confidence by doing public speaking. I am no longer afraid to speak in front of a crowd. I have learned so much from 4-H, and being part of the 4-H community that helps others is rewarding. Plus I have made some really good friends!”
