Two Cape May County Residents Inducted into Who’s Who1

WASHINGTON – Sensei (teacher) Grandmaster James R. Hatch Sr., also known as the master pastor sensei, and Sensei Donna Cancila Keating were inducted into the Who’s Who as Charter Members of the American Martial Arts Alliance Aug. 3.
The event was held in the Washington National Harbor Resort Convention Center Area.
Also, in January of this year, Hatch was elevated and promoted to Hanshi-Soke 10 Dan (Judan – 10th degree) among his former students and peers. The award was conferred by American Goju Karate Guardians Alliance (AGKGA) Grandmaster James Bright, founder.
Hatch, 66, has practiced martial arts for the past 50 years. He is founder of Karate Church and teaches Intro: to Wisdom for the Warrior. Hatch is also assistant pastor at Sword of Fire Christian Church, 402 Adams Ave., Woodbine.
Rev. Dr. Stephen Cooper is senior pastor. Hatch volunteers at two nursing facilities and Southern State Correctional Facility. He attends Atlantic Cape Community College pursing his degree.
