CHAMPION, LINDA L.
Linda L. Champion (nee Endicott), 75, of Belleplain, NJ, passed away early Saturday morning, February 1, 2025, at home. Linda was born in Millville & raised in Belleplain where she remained a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late John & Grace (Heaton) Endicott.
Linda was a graduate of Middle Twp High School. She was a full-time wife & mother. In addition to caring for her home and family, she had a career with Prudential Ins. Co. as a Claims Clerk, first in Millville and later for the Linwood office before its closing. With her insurance experience, it was a perfect fit to work in the billing office of Belleplain Rescue Squad. Early in her life, she attended the Evangelistic Tabernacle. Linda and Walt traveled the country by jet or vette, from sea to shining sea, visiting almost all 50 states. In recent years, she enjoyed the Phillies, her bird feeders, and doing puzzles.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 yrs., Walter R. “Walt” Champion, 3 sons; Dale of Belleplain, Brett of Alexandria Va., and John Endicott of DE., one sister & brother in-law; Patty & David Keever of West Virginia, as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews in the extended Endicott & Champion families.
Relatives & friends will be received on Thursday, February 6th, from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 643 Main St. Leesburg, NJ, where her funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM.
