STONE HARBOR – Cape May Deputy Clerk Emily Dillon is leaving the city for Stone Harbor, where she was to assume the responsibilities of municipal clerk Sept. 11.

Dillon was sworn in by Mayor Judith Davies-Dunhour at the Sept. 5 Borough Council meeting following a unanimous vote on her appointment.

Dillon is a graduate of Montclair State University. She has the required qualifications as certified municipal registrar and registered municipal clerk. Dillon served as tax clerk, deputy municipal clerk, and interim municipal clerk in Cape May.

Cape May Mayor Zack Mullock said, “Stone Harbor is getting a really good person. She will definitely be missed.”
