Brewery Coming to Ocean View, With Mini Golf Next Door

Brewery Coming to Ocean View, With Mini Golf Next Door

By Herald Staff

OCEAN VIEW – Meyers Brewing Co., founded by Upper Township resident Mike Meyers, is making the jump from Philadelphia to Ocean View in Dennis Township and could open as soon as May, according to a Facebook post from the company.

The new location, dubbed Meyers Lighthouse Brewing Co. and Mini Golf, will be larger than its Philly counterpart and boast a lighthouse theme. It will sit just off Route 9, near the main road into Sea Isle City, Sea Isle Boulevard.

The Philadelphia location is a popular spot in the heart of Fishtown; the building there was once an 1800s carriage house, the owner said in the announcement of the new location. The announcement framed the new location as a sort of “coming home” because of the founder’s lifelong connection to Cape May County.

The site where the new Meyers Lighthouse will be built currently houses a mini golf course, which will be reopened alongside the new brewing pub but will operate as a separate entity. The new brewery will have outdoor seating and 12 taps in the tasting room.

The new brewery promises “hazy IPAs, sours, stouts” and other locally crafted beverages.
