To the Editor:
At a time when there is much bad press about police officers, I would like to commend the State Police Woodbine Barracks.
I hadn’t seen one of my older and sickly neighbors for several days. I didn’t want to go into his house because I had no right to. My only answer was to ask the state police. The sergeant was very nice and able to solve my problems. He said he would send two officers to check on my neighbor. We were very pleased to find him in good health.
The officers were very gracious when I thanked them. They told me they are glad to come, especially when it is a happy outcome.
