6 Teens Charged With Possession of Stolen Vehicle in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY – On Saturday, June 8, at approximately 8:17 p.m., uniformed patrol officers stopped a motor vehicle reported stolen from Camden, New Jersey. As police officers approached the vehicle, six subjects fled the vehicle on foot. With assistance from the Drone Unit, additional responding officers were able to apprehend all six subjects. All six subjects were determined to be juveniles;

13-year-old male from Paulsboro, New Jersey

15-year-old female from Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

16-year-old female from Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

16-year-old male from Woodbury, New Jersey

15-year-old female from Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

14-year-old male from Paulsboro, New Jersey

All six juveniles were charged with possession of stolen property, a third-degree crime, and obstructing the administration of law, a fourth-degree crime. All six juveniles were subsequently released into the custody of their parent(s).
