With record-breaking support and hundreds of campaign signs across the borough, the Wilde-Antonicello-Vitagliano team is poised to deliver transparent, community-driven leadership in West Cape May ahead of the November 4th election.
With Election Day fast approaching, the nonpartisan team of Hamilton Wilde, Giocomo “Jack” Antonicello, and Dawn Vitagliano has built remarkable momentum across West Cape May, running a campaign grounded in transparency, integrity, and a shared vision for the community’s future.
In a town known for its close-knit spirit, the support this ticket has received is unprecedented in recent memory. The trio collected over 200 petition signatures to secure their place on the ballot — more than double any other slate of candidates this election cycle. That strong showing has carried through the fall, as hundreds of residents have proudly displayed campaign signs across the Borough, from Stimpson Lane to Sunset Boulevard and Broadway to Stevens Street.
“Our campaign has always been about unity,” said Wilde. “We’re not running on partisanship or personality — we’re running on principles. People here are ready for local leadership that listens, respects, and responds.”
In the past three months, Wilde, Antonicello, and Vitagliano have met with hundreds of residents through neighborhood canvassing, small-group gatherings, and a packed meet-and-greet at Willow Creek Winery that drew nearly ten percent of West Cape May’s voting population. The event was a celebration of community spirit, featuring speeches that emphasized protecting West Cape May’s unique character while planning responsibly for the future.
Each member of the team brings a unique background to the table. Wilde, a lifelong resident and community advocate, has become a recognized voice for government accountability and communication. Antonicello, an incumbent commissioner and public safety professional with decades of experience, is committed to improving infrastructure and traffic safety. Vitagliano, a recently retired global operations leader with Johnson & Johnson, offers decades of experience in organizational management and strategic problem-solving.
While the campaign season has not been without its challenges, the ticket has maintained a positive, forward-looking message. “We’ve seen what happens when government turns inward and forgets who it serves,” said Wilde. “That’s why we’re focused on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring every resident feels heard — not dismissed.”
The candidates have pledged to strengthen communication between Borough Hall and residents, address local concerns about safety and infrastructure, and promote balanced, thoughtful development that preserves the charm of West Cape May while ensuring long-term sustainability.
“Our community deserves leadership that solves problems — not creates them,” Wilde added. “The enthusiasm we’ve seen on doorsteps, online, and at events shows that people are ready for change that’s practical, respectful, and people-driven.”
If elected, the team will advance infrastructure improvements, expand public safety measures, and adopt a balanced development plan to protect West Cape May’s historic charm while preparing for growth.
