We do NOT have a balanced budget. Mayor Sabo moved money from our COAH account to avoid raising taxes in order to bolster her bid for the assembly seat. I feel bad for whoever wins the WCM commissioners race with the disaster Sabo is leaving behind for them to clean up. Our borough is practically bankrupt. All the revenue that the pot store was supposed to bring in was't true . It brought in about $200k in taxes the first year and has been dropping ever since. The borough will be lucky to collect even $75k this year. Talk about leadership being disconnected from the community.
