“Chicks in the Middle” Raise $2,000 at Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Middle Township – The Chicks in the Middle, a spirited group of local pickleball players, successfully hosted their fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser this October, raising $2,000.

The proceeds benefited Hope Cancer Center, a non-profit cancer treatment facility that provides comprehensive cancer care, advanced treatments, and patient support services to those battling cancer. Players and supporters filled the courts in pink, blending friendly competition with heartfelt community giving.

The event once again demonstrated the group’s commitment to turning sport into service. By rallying together, the Chicks in the Middle reminded us that even a game of pickleball can make a powerful difference in the fight against breast cancer. Organizers Kathy Colfer and Teresa DiPeso expressed their deep gratitude to the dedicated women who consistently step forward to champion local causes and support those in need.
