Jimmy Kimmel has not been silenced. He is free to speak his mind in the street, at gatherings, and on pod casts. His use of the airways is another matter. This commercial venue is another matter. The majority of the citizens are offended by his nasty, self righteousness and so, the local affiliates in a business decision have chosen not to carry him. Kimmel has no guarantee or rights to be aired. Period. In truth, his inappropriate commentary probably gave the affiliates what the had hoped for for sometime…the opportunity to sever relations with someone whose popularity is in a niche market
