HENDERSON,
CHRISTINE A.
Christine A. Henderson passed away peacefully at her Wildwood Crest home early Wednesday morning with her family by her side.
She was born Christine Helen Amaditz on September 14th, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She loved life and lived to the fullest from the time she was a little girl. She was a natural born entrepreneur and began selling homemade Barbie clothes door to door when she was only 8 years old. She took her talent for sales and eventually built an incredible real estate business from the ground up, Chris Henderson Realty. She was ahead of her time and a true trailblazer for women. She had incredible passion for helping people find their dream homes and her business was one of her proudest achievements.
But what brought her the most pride and joy were by far her two daughters, Tara and Mandy, and their families. After losing her husband Mick in 1998, she met Greg and they had 26 wonderful years together.
Chris had an infectious laugh, a true zeal for life, an amazing sense of humor, and an unmatched ability to find the positive in any situation. She was a self-defined people person and lit up every room she walked into. She was loved by so many and will be unbelievably missed but her family will carry on her legacy with pride.
She is pre deceased by her parents, Carl and Adele Amaditz, and her husband Leonard “Mick” M. Henderson. She is survived by her love, Greg Spangler, her daughters Tara Vallese (Joe) and Mandy Fraunces (Dave), her 5 grandchildren Corlen Vallese (Chloe), Josh Vallese, Luke Fraunces, Finn Fraunces, and Quinn Fraunces, and her siblings Carl Amaditz (Paula), Karen Swerdon (Mike), and Sue Nelson (Dave), along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, September 18th at Crest Community Church, 5901 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Crest where family and friends will be received from 10:00 with the service beginning at 12:00. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Crest Community Church.
