What is the matter with people- why do they hate swim teams and teens so much. We have 4 high schools and ONE functioning pool. Coast guard pool is off limits, Cape May City pool is perpetually closed/repairs, Crest pool is not requirement size - that leaves ONE old pool at Special Services for Lower, Middle, Tech, Special Services and WCHS . Teens are trying to compete , earn scholarships, exercise and the swim season is WINTER- which we do not have the luxury of changing. Swimming is not a crime - give the kids a pool !
