I don't understand all the backlash against the hotel that Mita wanted to put on the boardwalk. It looked like a very nice building that you might see in Cape May.The rides in wonderland were old, outdated, brokendown a lot, and i used to hear people say they can't wait till their kids were older so they could go on the newer, better, and cleaner rides at Pirates Cove pier with food stands as well. Now all of a sudden wonderland was this amazing place even though the rides were 70 years old.I think the Hotel was just what O C boardwalk needed to bring high class customers to our beach & shop
